John C. Michaelson, Managing Partner

Prior to founding Imperium Partners (now Michaelson Capital Partners), John served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Needham Asset Management and as a managing director and member of the board of directors of Needham & Company, a full service broker-dealer specializing in emerging growth companies and their institutional investors.

John holds an M.B.A. with distinction from the Harvard School of Business as well as a B.A. and M.A. from Oxford University. He is the author of Restructuring for Growth, a textbook that outlines growth strategies for private companies and of numerous articles on investing and economics. John serves as both a trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee for The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He is also a member of The Eton College endowment Investment Committee and a Trustee of the Royal Air Force Museum.

John has written extensively and his latest publication "Is Easy Money Killing Growth?" was published in World Economics in its July-September, 2012 issue. Many of John's publications are noted in our Press section.

Vincent S. Capone, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel

Vince is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the General Partner.�Prior to joining Michaelson Capital Partners, Vince spent the past fifteen years as a corporate attorney working at Morgan Lewis LLP and most recently for the last seven years as a corporate and securities partner at Reed Smith LLP.� Vince was a former certified public accountant and auditor with KPMG LLP. Vince has extensive experience in corporate and securities matters and brings a wealth of knowledge in dealing with our investment portfolio.�Vince is frequently a guest lecturer in the LLM Program at the Beasley School of Law at Temple University and the Villanova University School of Law. He is also the past chairman of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Vince earned his B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. Vince also earned his M.B.A from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Vince is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Vince is also a Trustee of the Imperium Partners Heroes Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to helping support American veterans and their families.

Edward M. Douglas, Senior Analyst

Eddie serves as our Senior Analyst in our commercial credit portfolio as well as in our separate account management and administration.�Prior to joining Michaelson Capital Partners Group, he worked in the de-regulated energy sector serving as a director of ESCO Services for Lockwood Capital, LLC. �While there, he originated and structured asset-based loans collateralized by energy accounts receivables with over fifteen national energy service companies and remarketers. Eddie has also served as a director for the insurance linked asset group at New Stream Capital, LLC where he structured and underwrote premium finance and life settlement transactions.

Eddie holds an MBA and B.S in Finance from the University of Connecticut.

Eddie is a decorated military veteran. He has served more than 20 years in the U.S. Naval Reserves including four tours in the Middle East following September 11, 2001 with an Inshore Patrol Boat Unit.

David Robbins, Portfolio Analyst of the General Partner

Before joining Michaelson Capital Partners Mr. Robbins held the position of U.S. Country Manager for Procserve.com, a UK based Electronic Procurement Cloud Services and Market Place provider where he lead their entry into the US market. Mr. Robbins has over 20 years of experience in Technology and Operations management, most recently with Morgan Stanley, PA Consulting and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Robbins has also lead technology due diligence for major acquisitions and fund raising in Investment banking, Airlines and IT services and has held senior management positions in Market and Business Development in the Information Technology products and services sector.

Mr. Robbins' experience ranges across many sectors including Investment Banking, Publishing, Telecoms, Airlines as well as Information Technology products and services. He is a graduate of Southampton University in the United Kingdom and also holds a Master of Sciences degree in Electrochemistry research from the same University as well as Post Graduate qualifications in Industrial Health and Safety from the University of Aston in the United Kingdom. Mr. Robbins was a research fellow at Southampton University and also with the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority where he carried out fundamental research in Electrochemistry and Nuclear Reprocessing Materials Development before later working in Logic Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems.
